On September 27 1974, businessman Danny Seifert was gunned down in broad daylight. This in itself wasn’t so surprising. It was Chicago, after all, and Seifert was in deep with the Mob. What was surprising, however, was that the gunmen left a living witness—two actually, Danny’s wife Emma and his young son Joey.
