But behind the dazzling smile Doris’ life was blighted by tragedy after tragedy stemming from a childhood that left her traumatized and in pain. As Doris rose to fame her genuine talent and no nonsense honesty took her to the very top, but she was pained and frustrated by her public image, which she believed denied her true character.
